INCIDENT: PC 459 – Burglary
LOCATION: Cigmart, 21620 Bear Valley Road #D2, Apple Valley, CA
SUSPECT(S): Rocksan Nunez, 27-year-old female of Victorville, CA
Alexis Renita Allen, 30-year-old female of Victorville, CA
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, October 22, 2023, deputies were dispatched to a theft at Cigmart, located at 21620 Bear Valley Road in the Town of Apple Valley.
Deputy A. Montanez responded and through investigation learned two females entered the business and left with boxes of jewelry without paying for them. Deputy T. Loup assisted Deputy Montanez and they conducted follow-up on this case and identified the suspects.
On Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at approximately 08:03 am, Deputy Loup and members of the Apple Valley detective division contacted Rocksan Nunez at a residence in the 17400 block of Sequoia Street in Hesperia. Nunez was found to be in possession of some of the stolen property, which was recovered and returned to the business. Nunez was arrested for the theft and an outstanding warrant. Nunez was transported to the High Desert Detention Center for housing and is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.
At approximately 11:43 am on October 25, Deputy Loup and detectives contacted Alexis Renita Allen at her residence in the 11700 block of Alana Way in Victorville. Allen was found to be in possession of property stolen in the theft and was arrested. This property was also recovered and returned to the business. Allen was transported to the High Desert Detention Center for housing, where she later posted bail.
On October 27, 2023, the Victorville District Attorney’s Office filed charges of PC 459, Commercial Burglary and PC 487(a), Grand Theft on both suspects.
