Flood Advisory until 06:00AM

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Texas, including the following counties, Denton and Tarrant.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor-drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. Ponding of water on roadways is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Grand Prairie, Carrollton, Frisco, Denton, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Mansfield, Euless, Bedford, Grapevine, Haltom City, Keller, Coppell, Hurst, Burleson and The Colony.

* AFFECTED AREAS: DENTON, TX ... TARRANT, TX
