Fire Weather Watch until 07:00PM Wednesday
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Fire Weather Watch for the northwest three quarters of Central Alabama, which is in effect from 1 PM through 7 PM Tuesday. A second Fire Weather Watch has also been issued for Wednesday from 11 AM through 7 PM for all of Central Alabama.
* WINDS...North 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 24 percent.
* IMPACTS...The combination of a dry air mass and windy conditions will result in critical fire weather conditions. Outdoor burning is highly discouraged.
