Final update 2:30pm- The search for the suspect, who has been identified, has been terminated. The suspect, who was being sought for felony domestic violence and weapons related charges, remains at large. Anyone with information regarding this subject is asked to contact Detective Flores at 909-596-1913.
Residents in the area may resume normal activity but are reminded to remain vigilant.

Update 12:45pm- K9 units assiting in the ongoing search in and around Damien High School. Residents in the area may leave but no one is being allowed in. Please remain vigilant.
Update 11:45am- Search narrowed to the Damien High School campus. Residents may leave the perimeter (listed in initial post), but no one may enter. Please remain vigilant.

Police are actively searching for an armed suspect in the area extending from Bonita/Damien, Palomares/Damien, Wheeler/Palomares, Wheeler/Bonita.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a white shirt with a black and white horizontal stipe sweatshirt and dark pants.
Residents in the area are asked to remain inside their homes with their windows and doors locked. If you see the suspect or any suspicious activity please call 911. Updates to follow.
