INCIDENT: Fatal Traffic Collison
LOCATION: Larrea Avenue / Twentynine Palms Highway, Twentynine Palms
VICTIM(S): Male, 60-year-old resident of Twentynine Palms
SUMMARY: On Saturday, October 28, 2023, at approximately 4:20 p.m., deputies assigned to Twentynine Palms responded to the intersection of Larrea Avenue / Twentynine Palms Highway for a reported motorcycle accident.
San Bernardino County Fire responded to the scene and provided medical care to the injured victim. Emergency Medical Ambulance transported the victim to High Desert Medical, but was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Deputies investigated the scene and determined the victim traveled southbound on Larrea Avenue, lost control of his motorcycle, and ran off the roadway into a ditch. No other vehicles were involved in the collision. This case is currently under investigation.
