Voluntary Water Restriction 
The Town of Tryon continues to monitor drought conditions, currently portions of Polk County are under D1 (Moderate) and D2 (Severe) conditions (per the NC Drought Management Advisory Council, www.ncdrought.org).
We again ask citizens to use good judgement with current water consumption. Our Public Works department keeps a constant check on this and keeps the Town Manager informed. In turn the council is apprised as much as possible. Important notices to our citizens will be distributed through our local media outlets as well as the Town's social media sites.
