Incident update regarding the natural gas leak in the Shasta Street and Carlson Boulevard area. We are pleased to inform you that the natural gas leak has been successfully stopped.

The Richmond Fire HazMat team has performed atmospheric air monitoring in the affected area and has confirmed that it is now all clear. It is safe for all residents to return to their homes and reoccupy the area.  

All streets in the area have been reopened to all traffic.
