The roadway has been reopened.
The Algonquin Police Department advises you to AVOID westbound Algonquin Rd (IL-62). between S. Main St. and IL-31 (By-Pass) due to a spill clean up due to an accident. All wesbound traffic lanes are closed between this area and will require a detour of traffic for the next two hours. IL-31 By-Pass is still open and can be used as an alternate route.
