Chino Man Arrested for Sexual Crimes Against a Minor; Deputies Attempting to Locate Possible Additional Victims

LOCATION: 11000 Block of Farndon Avenue, Chino, CA
SUSPECT(S): Edmundo Alarcon, 44-year-old resident of Chino
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: Between November 1, 2022, and July 14, 2023, the suspect, later identified as Edmundo Alarcon, developed a relationship with a minor victim. Over the course of their relationship, Alarcon coerced the victim to perform unlawful sexual acts inside his black Chevrolet van.
On October 31, 2023, detectives and deputies from the Chino Hills Sheriff's Station served a search warrant and arrest warrant at Alarcon's residence. Alarcon was arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center for PC 289(a)(1)(c) - Sexual Penetration of a Minor Under Duress.
Alarcon is the registered owner of a black and red replica Chevrolet van from the television show, "The A Team" and a replica Volkswagen van from the cartoon, "Scooby-Doo." Deputies are attempting to locate any other potential victims.
