INCIDENT: PC243D-Assault with Serious Injuries

SUSPECT(S): Jose Alejandro Martinez, Age 32, Resident of Azusa
VICTIM(S): Male Adult
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at approximately 1:48 a.m., Rancho Cucamonga deputies conducted an area check at the Goodfellas Bar and Night Club. During the area check, deputies heard a group of subjects yelling at each other and made contact with them.
Through their investigation, deputies discovered the victim and suspect had an argument inside the Goodfellas Bar and Night Club. The victim exited the bar and spoke with a group of people when the suspect, Jose Alejandro Martinez, approached the victim and punched him, knocking him unconscious.
Medical aid was rendered to the victim at the scene. Jose Alejandro Martinez was arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center for assault with serious injuries.
