HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA – October 24^th, 2023 – Just before midnight on October 23^rd, Hollister Police officers responded to the 1000 block of Monterey Street regarding a shooting victim. The adult male victim died at the scene.
 
The victim has been identified as Jacob Arballo, a 45 year old lifelong Hollister resident. Arballo is survived by his mother, and grandparents. Arballo was also a father and leaves behind a 6 year old daughter.
 
The police department has also determined that this homicide was gang-related.
 
Our Investigations Bureau has been working tirelessly on this case since the homicide occurred. We are again asking for your help. If you have any information that may assist our detectives in bringing the killers of Jacob Arballo to justice, we would like to hear from you.
