The Simi Valley Police Department is proud to announce that it has kicked off its second annual No-Shave November fundraiser. If you see officers with beards this month, it is meant to create awareness, and support causes that benefit cancer research. This year, members of the Simi Valley Police Department will be donating to no-shave.org, to raise $2000 for cancer research. Anyone in the community who wishes to join this fundraiser, please visit the no-shave.org website, select “DONATE” at the top right-hand corner, and donate to the team, “SIMI VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT.”
 
No-Shave November has become recognized nationwide. Every November for the past ten years, participants have donated the cost of grooming and have helped the No-Shave organization raise over $10 million to date. The Simi Valley Police Department is excited to participate and is looking forward to working with the community for this important cause.
