INCIDENT: PC 459 Commercial Burglary / PC 29800(a) (1) Felon in Possession of a Firearm
LOCATION: Home Depot, 58705 Twentynine Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley
SUSPECT(S): Arturo Antonio Navarro, 38-year-old, male, resident of Beaumont
SUMMARY: On Monday, September 18, 2023, a male suspect entered the Yucca Valley Home Depot and stole approximately $1,100.00 worth of merchandise. Home Depot staff later contacted the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station to report the crime and request an investigation.
Detective Ables worked with surrounding agencies and identified the suspect as Arturo Antiono Navarro, a resident of Beaumont.
On November 1, 2023, detectives authored a search warrant for Navarro’s residence, in the city of Beaumont. During the service of the search warrant detectives recovered stolen property from Home Depot. In addition to the recovered stolen property detectives located two assault rifles and two pistols.
Navarro was arrested for PC 459 Commercial Burglary and PC 29800(a)(1) Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Navarro was booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with a bail amount set at $50,000.00.
