SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN launched an investigation into employees violating the rules and regulations of the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office and named it Operation “Think it’s a Game".

On 10/28/23, while investigating the assault of an inmate, it was discovered  Correctional Officer Jalen Clausell facilitated an assault on an Inmate by intentionally allowing inmates to have access to the victim with the sole purpose of causing physical bodily injury to another inmate. 

A total of 5 people were arrested and Charged:

4 current inmates charged with Aggravated Assault

Isaiah Campuzano 
Jevontavious Hall
Lamonte Turner 
Keshon White 

&

Officer Clausell has been arrested and stripped of his officer title and uniform and charged with Conspiracy to Commit 
Aggravated Assault,
Reckless Conduct, and Violation of Oath by Public Officer.


SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN has said time and time again that this is not a game of “monkey see & monkey do”.  SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN is committed to cleaning both the streets and jail of Clayton County.

He will continue to keep Inmates, Civilians and Officers safe at the Clayton County Jail.

Under the leadership of SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN, the Sheriff’s Office have made over 3,430 arrest (8 being officers or contractors), picked up 327 Tons of trash off of the streets of Clayton County, and have asked for Over $8M in emergency funding for jail improvements.
