The Borough welcomes residents and visitors to attend our Veterans Day activities this Saturday, November 11th.
The ceremony will begin at 11:00 am at the Doughboy Monument, on Raritan Avenue in Highland Park. It will proceed down Raritan Avenue into New Brunswick to the Monument on George Street and Livingston Avenue.
We encourage residents and businesses to participate and show their support of our Veterans by attending the ceremony and lining the streets.
*Traffic Advisory*
Vehicles will start being restricted from traveling in the vicinity of the Doughboy Monument at 10:30 a.m. Once the parade starts, vehicles will be restricted from traveling on Route 27 until the parade passes into New Brunswick. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area of Route 27 between 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
In order to prepare for the parade, parking will be restricted on Route 27 on November 11th from 6 a.m. until the conclusion of the parade.
