Update 5:11 pm. Potrero Avenue is open to vehicle traffic.
The ECFD has extinguished the fire in the Hillside Nature Area and cleanup efforts are underway.
Potrero Ave. will remain closed between Navellier St. and Julian Dr. while the fire department continues operating in the area.
Instructions:
Avoid the area during cleanup operations.
