Reminder- once per week garbage collection (November 1 through March 31) will start this week, beginning on Thursday Nov 9th & Friday Nov 10th.  If your regular pick-up is Monday & Thursday, (District 1) during this once-a-week schedule, you will be picked up only on Thursday. If your regular pick-up is Tuesday and Friday, (District 2) during this once-a-week schedule, you will be picked up only on Friday. Yard waste, including branches, shrubs, plants and grass clippings are not collected from November through March and ONLY collected April 1 through November 1 on your regular trash day. From November through March, you can put this waste out on your Saturday Bulk Day.

The Town Green will host for an Autumn Artisan Faire, this Saturday Nov 4th from 10am- 4pm.  Enjoy a fall day in support of local artists on the Green and shop our downtown businesses ahead of the holiday rush. 

The milling and repaving of West Saddle River Road will begin Monday the 6th and continue through Wednesday the 9th (weather permitting) expect closures and no access on paving days. Please plan accordingly and avoid if possible. West SR Rd. residents should follow the letters delivered this week by the Borough Engineers office. 

Leaf collection is underway- Residents should rake the leaves to the street no more than seven days prior to the date indicated on the schedule for pick up in their district. Please note there may be variations +/- in the schedule due to weather conditions or emergencies. However, we will always be there on or after the date. So, your leaves must be out the night before the date indicated to ensure removal.   Leaves shall not be placed closer than 10 ft. from drain inlets. No on street parking during pickup days. Garbage, branches, limbs, shrubs and debris will not be picked up. LEAVES ONLY. Once your block has passed the third collection date, we will not be back unless residents bag their leaves for collection through the end of the year. After that private removal will be required.

Payments now due- Taxes, due Nov 1st with a grace period to Nov 9th- are extended to Nov 13th. For the Veterans Day Holiday weekend. Both Water & Solid Waste due in October have a grace period to Nov 15th. 

Election Day is Tuesday Nov 7th all districts may vote in person at Borough Hall 333 Warren Ave. The Polls are open 6 am- 8 pm.
