Special Needs Registry Program

Haledon Police Department Expands Special Needs Registry Program

On behalf of Chief of Police Angelo J. Daniele and Deputy Chief of Police George Guzman, Jr., we are thrilled to announce the expansion of our Autism Registry Program to include the newly launched First Responder Special Needs Alert Registry.

The program aims to create a comprehensive database of individuals with autism and other mental health conditions, such as Dementia, Alzheimer's, and Bipolar Disorder, within our community. By providing essential information to our officers, we can better understand and respond effectively to calls involving individuals with special needs.

Participation is entirely voluntary, and all personal information will be kept confidential and protected under federal HIPAA regulations. The safety and well-being of our community members are our top priorities.

For more information or to register yourself or a loved one, please contact Sergeant George Kelly at [email protected]. You can also find the registration form on our police website.

Together, let's create a safer and more inclusive community!

Instructions:

For more information or to register yourself or a loved one, please contact Sergeant George Kelly at [email protected] or stop in at Haledon Police Headquarters.
