INCIDENT: PC-29800(a)(1) - Felon In Possession of a Firearm
PC-30305(a)(1) - Felon in Possession of Ammunition
LOCATION: Needles Highway/Q Street, Needles, CA 92363
SUSPECT(S): James McCullough, 53-Years-Old, Resident of Bullhead City, AZ.
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Sunday, November 5, 2023, at approximately 8:16 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/ Needles Police Department, conducted a traffic stop near Needles Highway and Q Street and identified the driver as James McCullough. During the course of the investigation, McCullough was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm and ammunition.
McCullough is a felon and is prohibitited from being in possession of a firearm and ammunition. McCullough was consequently arrested for P.C. 29800(a)(1)- Felon in Possession of a Firearm and PC- 30305(a)(1) - Felon in Possession of Ammunition. McCullough remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with $30,000.00 bail, awaiting a court hearing.
