On Friday, November 3, 2023 at approximately 1825 hours, the Readington Township Police were dispatched to the Belvidere Motel for a report of a burglary. It was determined that the calling party Michael Fiore (65) out of Whitehouse Station filed a false report because he lost his wallet and prescription medication, Fiore was arrested and charged with False Reports to Law Enforcement. The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
