INCIDENT: CVC 20001(a) Hit and Run with Injuries
LOCATION: Bryant Street and Wildwood Canyon Road, Yucaipa
SUSPECT: David Ullery, 70-years-old, a resident of Yucaipa
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, November 2, 2023, at approximately 5:20 pm, a three-vehicle traffic collision occurred on Wildwood Canyon Road at the intersection of Bryant Street in Yucaipa.
The traffic collision was initiated by an unknown driver in a maroon/burgundy Chevrolet Corvette, who fled the scene eastbound on Wildwood Canyon Road at a high rate of speed.
One of the victims sustained significant head injuries.
On Monday, November 6, 2023, at approximately 1:35 pm, through investigative leads, the driver of the vehicle was identified as David Ullery. A search warrant for Ullery’s residence was served and the Chevrolet Corvette involved in the collision was recovered with significant damage.
Ullery was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center for hit and run.
