VICTIM(S): 26-year-old female of Apple Valley, CA
SUSPECT(S): Juan Lopez, 41-year-old male of Apple Valley, CA
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, November 5, 2023, deputies were dispatched to a report of an assault in the 15300 block of Blackfoot Road in the Town of Apple Valley.
Deputy D. Ciani investigated and learned an altercation occurred between a 26-year-old female and the suspect, Juan Lopez. Lopez assaulted the victim, threatened her and refused to allow her to leave the residence. The victim was able to get away from Lopez and went to a neighbor’s house for assistance.
A search warrant was obtained for the residence where the incident occurred. During the service of the search warrant, heroin and two firearms were located.
Juan Lopez was arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center for housing, and is being held in lieu of $1,000,000 bail.
