Investigators in Hesperia Request the Public's Assistance in Locating a Missing Elderly Woman

MISSING PERSON: Sherry Smith, 73-year-old resident of Hesperia
DESCRIPTION: White female adult, 5'00" tall, 150 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes
SUMMARY:
On Monday, October 30, 2023, deputies from the Hesperia Police Department responded to the 18000 block of Cherry Street in Hesperia to investigate the report of a missing person.
During the investigation, deputies learned that on Thursday, October 26, 2023, Sherry Smith took a taxi from her Hesperia residence to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center to visit a family member. After her visit, Sherry left the hospital on-foot, but never returned home to Hesperia.
Sherry is 5'00" tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Sherry commonly uses a walking cane and was last seen wearing a pink shirt.
