Man arrested at residence in Maple Shade on Drug and Weapons charges.

Chief Christopher Fletcher announces the arrest of one individual for possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of Maple Shade High School, and illegal possession of a firearm.
Jewhiz Perido, of Maple Shade, was arrested at a residence on the 100 block of Frederick Ave in the early morning hours on November 8, 2023. During the investigation and subsequent arrest, a quantity of suspected crystal methamphetamine, a scale and packaging products consistent with narcotics distribution, a .45 caliber semi-automatic firearm and over a thousand dollars were seized. Perido was charged with 1st degree possession of CDS with intent to distribute, intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, unlawful possession of a firearm and other related drug offenses, and transported to the Burlington County Jail on a warrant.
The Maple Shade Police Department was assisted in the investigation and arrest by the Drug Enforcement Administration (NJ Division – Camden Resident Office), New Jersey State Police TEAMS Unit,
Gloucester Township Police and Haddon Heights Police Department.
