My Dear Neighbors, Friends, and Veterans:
 
Today we pause to express our deep gratitude and sincere appreciation to you, our Waldwick Veterans, for your brave and selfless service to our country.
 
We also offer our heartfelt thanks to all our Veterans across our great land who have worn the uniform of the United States Armed Forces.
 
Veterans Day is a time to remember that freedom is not guaranteed, it is protected by the men and women in our Armed Services. 
 
Our country’s greatness is built on the foundation of courage and sacrifice that all Veterans have shown.
 
Veterans Day is not just a day for Veterans; it is a day for all Americans. It is a day to remember and thank all our Veterans for their service to our country and all of us.
 
Each Veteran has risen to the nation’s call, possessed courage, pride, determination, selflessness, dedication to duty and integrity.
 
Because of you, our liberty has won. Because of you our liberty is kept. Because of you, we live in a land that is free for all of us to enjoy.
 
Let us continue our journey protecting our freedom and the freedom of future generations.
 
Let us walk towards tomorrow always honoring our Veterans, following their example of service to others and to our country.
