San Bernardino Man Points Firearm at Victims and is Later Arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon

LOCATION: Intersection of Redlands Boulevard / Anderson Avenue, Loma Linda
SUSPECT(S): Orlando Iniguez, 24-year-old resident of San Bernardino

SUMMARY: On Monday, November 6, 2023, deputies assigned to the Central Station responded to a road rage incident that occurred in the city of Loma Linda. The victims and suspect were stopped next to each other at the intersection of Redlands Boulevard and Anderson Avenue. The suspect, who was driving a black Honda Civic, pointed a black handgun at the victims in a threatening manner and caused them to be in fear for their life.
Through investigation, deputies determined the vehicle belonged to Orlando Iniquez of San Bernardino, and he was positively identified as the suspect who pointed the firearm at the victims.
Detectives assigned to the Central Station served multiple search warrants and recovered three firearms registered to Iniguez.
Iniguez turned himself in at the Central Detention Center and was booked for his active arrest warrant for PC245, Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Iniguez is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
