Full Notification

This is a reminder from Clay County Emergency Services and the North Carolina Forest Service.  The current burn ban remains in effect for no outdoor burning in Clay County and other surrounding counties in western North Carolina until further notice.  Dry conditions continue in Clay County even with the rainfall that has fallen in the county in the last two days.  Further information will be sent out as it is received from the North Carolina Forest Service and the Clay County Fire Marshall's Office.
