Full Notification

On November 12, 2023, at about 1815 hours, deputies assigned to the Wasco Substation responded to a hit and run vehicle collision involving an unknown vehicle versus a bicyclist.  Upon their arrival, deputies located one person suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.  Life saving efforts were made by the responding deputies but the victim ultimately passed away.  No further information is being released pending the initial investigation by deputies.  A detailed report will be provided at a later time.
