SUBJECT:  Juveniles Arrested for Motor Vehicle Burglary

OFFICERS: Officers Alicea Angelo, Timothy Kolodziej, Brenden Bernhard, Anthony Bartolomei, Christopher Coeyman, Detective Steven Walker and Sergeant Raheem Carter 
                                   
LOCATION: Lakeview Avenue in Ocean Township    
 
ACCUSED: Two Juveniles from Asbury Park, NJ
 
NARRATIVE:   On November 12^th, 2023 at approximately 8:00 pm officers were dispatched to a residence on Lakeview Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle burglary in progress.  While officers were in route to the call, it was learned that the suspects had fled from the driveway onto an adjacent street.  Upon the officers’ arrival, they searched the area and located two juveniles who matched the description of the suspects.  They were taken into custody and transported to police headquarters.  Once at police headquarters, they were processed and both juveniles were charged with Burglary to a Motor Vehicle.  They were released on a summons to a guardian pending an initial court appearance.
