Wood County has an important message for the community!  Everbridge, parent company to Nixle, is now a part of the Wood County family.

Get alerted about emergencies and other important community news by signing up for our Everbridge Emergency Alert Program. This system enables us to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, 911 service interruption, missing persons and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods.  Messages may be issued via the National Weather Service, Wood County Emergency Services (Law/Fire/EMS), Wood County Emergency Management, Wood County Health Department and other Wood County entities.
 
You will receive time-sensitive messages wherever you specify, such as your home, mobile or business phones, email address, text messages and more. You pick where, you pick how.  However, any imminent threats to life or safety will be received regardless of your options.

Everbridge is intended to augment your current Nixle subscription and you are not automatically added for customized alerts just because you are already a Nixle member.
