Register for basketball, wrestling, and pickleball recreation programs

Residents can register for basketball, wrestling, and pickleball recreation programs starting on Monday, Nov. 20, at 5 p.m. at https://hoboken.recdesk.com/Community/Home

The City's Recreation Division will offer instructional youth basketball to children in kindergarten through second grade, a coed basketball league for children in third through eighth grade, a girls basketball league for children in fifth through eighth grade, and a special needs basketball program. Participants must be a Hoboken resident or enrolled in a Hoboken based school.

Hoboken youth interested in wrestling can also register for the City's coed wrestling program which is designed for children between the ages of 6 and 14 years old. 

For adults, the City will offer coed, pickup-style basketball on Fridays from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. from Dec. 15 through Jan. 19 for ages 18 and over at the 605 Jackson Street gym. 

Hoboken Residents 18 years and older can also register for the indoor adult pickleball program. The program, held in the Multi-Service Center at 124 Grand St., offers three courts for rotational play three days a week starting on Nov. 27 and ending on Feb. 5. 

Sessions will be held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Due to limited space, registered players can only attend the session they have registered for. Registration is required to participate and is restricted to Hoboken residents.

All players must bring their own pickleball paddles and balls.
