NJDEP community meeting reminder
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection will host a virtual community outreach meeting to discuss the Rebuild by Design Hudson River coastal flood risk reduction project, which is beginning the construction phase for the "Resist" component in Hoboken, as well as portions of Weehawken and Jersey City. The meeting will take place via Zoom beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Nov. 16, and will be available to the public via the following platforms:

The meeting will include a presentation on the planned construction of the Resist Alignment flood risk reduction system and Harborside Park Improvements. Topics will include the project overview, work previously completed, and upcoming construction activities and impacts to the community during this phase.

The Hudson Regional Health Commission will host a COVID-19 and Flu vaccine clinic on Nov. 16 on the second floor of the Multi Service Center from 3 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

The Office of Constituent Services will host an information session on Monday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the ground floor conference room of Hoboken City Hall, 94 Washington St., to provide residents with information regarding local municipal boards and how to apply.
Hoboken has 16 boards that help create policies and programs that shape the community including the Zoning Board of Adjustment, Library Board, Shade Tree Commission, and more.
Attendees are asked to enter City Hall from Newark Street.
Hoboken Community Center Pantry Thanksgiving distribution is Nov. 17
The Hoboken Community Center Pantry will host it's special Thanksgiving food distribution on Friday, Nov. 17, from 12 to 2 p.m.
They will distribute Thanksgiving-themed grocery bags, fresh produce, bread, holiday extras, and chickens and turkeys.
Distributions will take place at the Hoboken Community Center at 1301 Washington St., the Multi-Service Center at 124 Grand St. and Monroe Gardens at 221 Jackson St. in the ground floor community room.
