Solicitation of Prostitution Operation 
On 10-26-23, the Janesville Police Department, Rock County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation, conducted a joint operation focusing on solicitation of prostitution. The operation was conducted at a vacant residence in Janesville. The operation resulted in the arrest of 3 subjects for solicitation of prostitution. All 3 subjects were processed at the Janesville Police Department and released.
Human trafficking continues to be an issue and is taken seriously by all the agencies. Solicitation of prostitution is one facet of it and the agencies intend to conduct similar operations in the near future. Questions regarding this can be sent to Sgt. Dammen at [email protected].
