Green Bay Police Investigate Shooting on City’s West Side; Victim Involved in Crash, Police Searching for Suspect(s)
The Green Bay Police Department is searching for the suspect(s) involved in a shooting on the city’s west side, which is believed to have occurred near the 1600 block of Christiana Street. The incident injured a 20-year-old Green Bay man, who reportedly caused a head-on crash while driving himself to a hospital.
On Monday, November 13, 2023, around 2:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Badger Street and Badger Lane. On scene, it was discovered that a male driver with a gunshot wound, crashed into a SUV driven by a 32-year-old Green Bay woman, and then fled on foot to get himself help. Rescue was called for the female driver, who reported minor injuries.
The male has been treated for serious injuries, however, remains hospitalized at this time.
This appears to be an isolated incident. We do not believe that the public is in any danger.
The investigation is ongoing. No further details will be released at this time.
