SUSPECT(S): Michael Carreon, a 31-year-old resident of Twentynine Palms

SUMMARY: On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Morongo Basin Station were dispatched to the 73500 block of Twentynine Palms Highway, Twentynine Palms, for a domestic disturbance.
Through investigation, deputies learned Michael Carreon body slammed the victim to the ground and she lost consciousness. A witness called 911 after observing the altercation. Deputies conducted an area check and located Carreon in the area. Carreon was detained and subsequently arrested and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail for P.C. 237.5 - Felony Domestic Assault.
