Full Notification

An Escondido man was killed Tuesday night when his motorcycle and a pickup truck collided in the intersection of Washington Avenue and Rock Springs Road. The crash occurred at about 5:19 p.m.
The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital, but pronounced deceased shortly thereafter. His identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
The pickup truck driver was uninjured.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, and the cause is under investigation. The collision is being investigated by Officer Pete McCollough.
