Fort Branch man arrested on DUI charge. 
On November 15, 2023, at 2:26 a.m. the driver of a Red 2014 Toyota Tundra was observed repeatedly honking the horn and revving their engine of their vehicle while parked in the parking lot of the Fort Branch Fastbreak located at 805 East Oak Street. Upon approaching the vehicle Fort Branch Officer Louis Jerrell detected the odor of alcohol coming from the driver 49 year old Korey Lamb of Fort Branch. At that point Deputy Wyatt Hunt approached the vehicle and began a roadside DUI investigation. Once the investigation was complete Mr. Lamb was taken into custody by Deputy Hunt and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail Mr. Lamb was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. He remains in custody on a $650 bond.
Assisting Deputy Hunt and Officer Jerrell in their investigation was Sgt. John Fischer.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
