INCIDENT: PC 422 - Criminal Threats and PC 243(E)(1) - Domestic Battery
LOCATION: 400 Block of Cibola Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Maria Aversa, 45-Years-Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Monday, November 13, 2023, at approximately 10:14 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service near the 400 block of Cibola Street reference a domestic disturbance. When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered the suspect, Maria Aversa, assaulted and made several criminal threats towards the victim.
Maria Aversa was consequently arrested for PC 243(E)(1)- Domestic Battery and PC 422 - Criminal Threats. Aversa was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking and remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $75,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
