Good evening. The last section of Broad Avenue was paved today. Tomorrow (Friday, Nov 17th) starting at 8:00am, road work will continue on Broad Avenue with line striping. The line striping should be completed by the end of the day Friday and we do not anticipate any road closures. Parking is prohibited on Broad Avenue from Hillside Avenue to Crescent Avenue until the road work is completed. There may be minor traffic delays and we encourage you to use Grand Avenue if possible.  

Included in the line striping will be parking stalls for reverse angle parking.  For information and videos on reverse angle parking, please visit the Borough's website at:

For anyone that has not parked in a reverse angle parking stall before, the parking lot at the Leonia Swim Club is a good place with no traffic to practice.  When on Broad Avenue, please be patient and leave space between you and the car in front of you to allow for reverse angle parking, just as you would for parallel parking. 

In addition to reverse angle parking stalls; a new crosswalk and bike lanes will be added to Broad Avenue. We thank you for your patience while these road improvement projects are completed.
