SUSPECT(S): Jimmy Herrera, a 43-year-old resident of Chino Hills
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Saturday, November 18, 2023, at approximately 6:18 p.m., Chino Hills deputies responded to a call for service regarding a reckless driver. Deputies found the described vehicle, occupied by the male suspect, parked at the above location. The suspect fled from deputies in his vehicle, leading to a vehicle pursuit. The vehicle pursuit was ultimately ended for public safety interests after the suspect drove the wrong way on State Route 71.
Through investigation, the suspect was identified as Jimmy Herrera, a 43-year-old resident of Chino Hills. Deputies authored and obtained an arrest warrant for Herrera. On Sunday, November 19, 2023, Herrera was contacted by Chino Hills deputies and arrested. Herrera was booked at West Valley Detention Center for felony evading.
