Narrative:
 
Sheriff’s Investigators arrested a subject for assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder.  
 
On November 19th, 2023, at approximately 10:52 P.M., deputies from the Thousand Oaks Police Department responded to the 200 block of Mayfield Court in Thousand Oaks, in reference to a call of a battery.  When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered two victims of an assault; one of them suffering from significant and life-threating injuries.  Both victims were transported via ambulance to a local hospital for advanced medical treatment.
 
The suspect, identified as Scott Goldberg, was arrested at the scene for assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder.  Mr. Goldberg was booked at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility and his bail is set at $510,000.
  
This incident was an isolated event, and the suspect was known to the victims.  There is no known threat to public safety.
