The Santa Ana City Council will meet today, November 21, 2023. Closed session begins at 5 p.m. and open session is at 5:30 p.m. The agenda includes:

Hold a public hearing and consider an appeal of the Planning Commission’s denial of a conditional use permit for Anchor Stone Christian Church to operate a church at 2938 South Daimler St.

Hold a public hearing, affirm the Planning Commission's resolution naming a new park at Standard and McFadden avenues as Gerardo Mouet Park, and adopt resolutions to allow the park at the site.

Appoint an Interim City Manager and authorize the Mayor to execute employment agreement.

Nominate and appoint a representative to serve on the Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control Board of Trustees for either a 2-year or 4-year term.

Approve the first reading of an ordinance amending Santa Ana Municipal Code to provide that compensation for City Boards and Commissions shall be set by resolution of the City Council.
