Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death investigation of a male Hispanic adult.
On Sunday, November 19, 2023, at approximately 1:12 p.m., deputies from Compton Sheriff’s Station responded to a call of a person down near the intersection of Alameda Street and Artesia Boulevard, in the city of Compton.
When Compton deputies arrived on scene, they discovered the victim unresponsive nearby in the “Compton Creek”. Compton City Fire Department personnel also responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Homicide investigators responded and assumed control of the death investigation
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
