City of Sonora employees are working on a water line in the area of Second Street and Central.  This might affect water services for this immediate area.  
 
Repair time is approximately 2 hrs.
 
We are asking our citizens to avoid this area and utilized other alternative routes.

UPDATE:

9:30 PM

City employees continue to work on the waterline repair in the area of St. Ann's and Calle Useus.  Sonora citizens are experiencing low water pressure at their houses throughout the city.  This is in direct result of us working on our damaged waterline.

Employees are reporting that they have reached the ruptured area and now fiixing the line. We are estimating that water service should be restored within the hour.
