OPD’s 192nd and 193rd Academies Participate in Two-Star Market’s 21st Annual Thanksgiving Day Celebration
Oakland, CA – The Oakland Police Department's 192nd and 193rd Academies partnered with Two-Star Market, at 2020 MacArthur Boulevard, for their 21st Annual Thanksgiving Day Celebration on Thursday, November 23, 2023. This event showcased the department's commitment to community and unity.
The Thanksgiving Day Celebration, a beloved Oakland tradition, was made possible by the joint efforts of the police academies and Two-Star Market. Training officers and recruits from the 192nd and 193rd Academies worked together to ensure the event's success, bringing joy and nourishment to those in need in Oakland.
Throughout the day, the academies set up, cooked delicious food, and served meals to the community. Their unwavering dedication to service and creating a positive impact in Oakland was truly inspiring.
