The Fairfield Police Department is currently investigating a major collision at the intersection of Highway 12 and Pennsylvania Ave. Both directions of Highway 12 are closed at the intersection of Pennsylvania Ave. Traffic is being diverted onto Beck Ave or Jackson St. Both directions of Pennsylvania Ave are also closed prior to the intersection of Highway 12 and traffic is being diverted.
There is no timeframe of when the intersection will be opened. Follow-up notification will be sent once the roadway is open.
