Lake Effect Snow Warning until 12:00AM Wednesday

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches, especially in the eastern half of the county. Localized amounts to 10 inches are possible in the northeast portion of the county. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Cuyahoga county.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to midnight EST Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commutes Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow is expected to push south into the area late tonight into Tuesday morning with rates in excess of 1 inch per hour in the heaviest snow bands. The greatest accumulations are expected across eastern portions of the county with significant impacts to the Tuesday morning commute.
