* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations 2 to 4 inches, with up to 7 inches along the Nulato Hills and near Kaltag. Winds gusting to 30 mph with blowing snow and visibility one half mile or less at times.
* WHERE...Middle Yukon Valley.
* WHEN...From noon today to 3 AM AKST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy snow will develop this afternoon and continue into tonight. The heaviest snow will be long the Nulato Hills and near Kaltag where 6 to 7 inches of snow is possible. From Galena east snow amounts will be less with 2 to 4 inches expected. Winds increasing this evening will cause blowing snow in reduced visibility in most areas.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MIDDLE YUKON VALLEY
