On Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, The Town of Hope Mills will host its annual Christmas Parade.

The parade will begin at 5 P.M. at Rockfish Elementary School and proceed to North Main Street. It will turn right onto North Main Street to Cameron Road. It will turn left onto Cameron Road and conclude at Hope Mills Middle School. For the safety of participants and spectators, the following roads will be closed:

At 4:30 P.M., Rockfish Road will be closed to vehicular traffic between Golfview Road and North Main Street.
At 4:45 P.M., North and South Main Streets will be closed to vehicular traffic between Golfview Road and Cameron Road.
At approximately 5:15 P.M., Cameron Road will be closed to vehicular traffic between South Main Street and Legion Road.

**Detour Routes:

Vehicles traveling south on North Main Street and Rockfish Road will turn right onto Golfview Road and continue to Black Bridge Road, then turn left onto Lake Upchurch Drive, turn left onto Brisson Road, turn left onto Muscat Road, turn left onto Parkton Road, and proceed to South Main Street.

Vehicles traveling north on South Main Street will turn left onto Parkton Road, left onto Muscat Road, left onto Brisson Road, left onto Lake Upchurch Drive, left onto Black Bridge Road and continue onto Golfview Road, and proceed to Rockfish Road or North Main Street.

Motorists can expect significant traffic delays and are urged to utilize U.S. 301 and NC 162 (Elk Road/George Owen Road) to bypass Main Street.
