* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 1-5 inches in the valleys and areas below 6000 feet. Above 6000 feet, expect 6 to 18 inches of snow, with localized heavier amounts. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph in the highest terrain.
* WHERE...Northern Elko County and Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Range.
* WHEN...From Thursday evening through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTHERN ELKO COUNTY ... RUBY MOUNTAINS AND EAST HUMBOLDT RANGE
